Snail, a short poem?

I imagine,

a snail as big as a elephant,

at a traffic light,

wanting to cross the one, before the ONE,

engaging in a tussle with the tusker,

pushing the tusker with her tentacles,

speculating, “What this large teeth-like are doing outside the tusky’s mouth?”

asking herself, “What are her huge tentacles for?”

only to be whisked away by her Mahoot.

Mahoot: an Indian/ Burmese name for a Elephant Rider
